The B-Listers are Chris Marion (Little River Band) and Stephanie Calvert (Starship). These two
met and became friends on a Moody Blues Rock Cruise. Friendship blossomed into the ultimate
duo as they married in January of 2020. When the Coronavirus shut down their respective
bands within weeks of their marriage, their musical collaboration began as means of
maintaining sanity and their connection to fans. “Quarantunes” (as they dubbed their first
Facebook live stream) debuted the yet unnamed duo performing their favorites and the
requests of their social media friends.
Chris Marion is a Nashville musician best known for being the keyboardist and vocalist for the
famed classic rock act, Little River Band and for his contributions to the gospel music industry.
A classically trained pianist, Chris also obtained a B.A. in psychology from Carson-Newman
University with a minor in music. Since moving to Nashville in the 80’s, Chris has toured as a
keyboardist with artists from Stephen Curtis Chapman to Shenandoah to Opry member, Jeannie
Seely. In 1994, Marion founded the country band Western Flyer that garnered several Billboard
top 40 hits along with much critical praise. As a writer and producer of children’s music, Marion
has received multiple Dove Award nominations. As a producer, Chris has been part of teams
that have worked with everyone from Garth Brooks to G. Gordon Liddy. In 2004, Chris was
invited to join Little River Band, touring globally with the band and contributing to their 8 latest
She might top out at 5’2”, but Stephanie Calvert, former female lead singer for the epic band,
Starship stands 10 feet tall in rock and roll credits. She literally cut her teeth on classic rock
icons like Slick, Joplin and Heart back in her entertainment hometown of Las Vegas. Now, she is
blazing a new trail with her own project, Stephanie Calvert and the All-Stars – a truly all-star
cast counting members from Boston, Eddie Money, Toto, Michael Jackson, Kenny Loggins,
Survivor, and Family Stone. It’s no surprise that when she’s not touring globally that she rules
the day and nightlife from Las Vegas to Dallas. From local stints in the cast of Raiding The Rock
Vault, the highly acclaimed classic rock concert experience in Las Vegas to international touring
with LA’s Rockers Collective featuring players from Pink to Def Leppard, she owns stages from
Vegas to Vienna. She’s shared the stage with countless artists and has even sat in with bands
from Loverboy to Reo Speedwagon. Stephanie Calvert is a raven-haired force to be reckoned
Although Marion and Calvert have shared the stage as peers with dozens of artists through
their decades of combined musical careers, they approach their duo name with tongue in
cheek. They claim that by calling themselves The B-Listers, they set the bar lower and
occasionally exceed expectations… These two might scoff at their “sorta fame” but their fans
old and new are excited about the prospect of this new duo.
